On July 4, the Guishan Island Scenic area management side jointly with the Guishan Market Supervision and Management Institute, Guangdong Province Quality supervision and Food Inspection Station, Guangdong Food Industry Research Institute Co., LTD., the Guishan Town seafood stalls, supermarkets, restaurants in the edible agricultural products, pre-packaged food sampling.

The sampling of 4 seafood stalls, 4 food stalls, 1 meat stalls. Sampling 5 batches of shellfish, 5 batches of vegetables, 1 batch of pork, issued 9 samples of food safety inspection notification. At the same time of sampling inspection, the management of the scenic spot reminds the merchants to fulfill the obligations of purchase inspection and claim tickets, and do not purchase or operate food of unknown origin. Urge merchants to implement the main responsibility of food safety, improve service awareness, standardize business behavior, and ensure the food safety of the general public.

In the next step, Guishan Island Scenic Area will combine the relevant requirements of creating a national AAAA tourist attraction and Zhuhai to create a national food safety demonstration city, increase inspection efforts, and improve the spirit, health grade and service quality of the catering industry as a whole.
