On the afternoon of July 6, Guishan Island Scenic Area held a meeting to deepen the national civilized city construction work, Guishan Town Party Secretary Wang Xianrui attended the meeting and made a speech, the town Party Committee deputy secretary Hua Shu presided over the meeting. All the members of the town leadership team, the offices (centers, bureaus), fire bureaus, two villages, the city of Hengqin capital responsible comrades, the two villages to participate in the meeting.

The meeting conveyed the work requirements of the preparatory group of Hezhou New Area on the creation of a national civilized town in Guishan Town, reported the field assessment and existing problems of the civilized city in the scenic spot in May and the summary of the problems of the internal test in June 2023, as well as the division of responsibilities and specific work contents of the scenic spot to create a national civilized town. The responsible comrades of the relevant departments made speeches on the problems and rectification measures that need to be solved comprehensively in the special work of civilized city construction.

Wang Xianrui stressed that one must pay close attention to the implementation of rectification. All departments should raise awareness, consolidate responsibility, focus on assessment failure points, timely rectification and implementation, to ensure that all problems are effectively solved; Second, we need to strengthen inter-departmental interaction. Take the creation of a national civilized town as an opportunity to continuously improve the degree of urban civilization, establish and improve the long-term normal creation mechanism, all departments according to the division of responsibilities, form a joint force, and go all out to create a national civilized town; Third, we must give full play to our advantages to achieve good results. On the good basis that our town is a provincial-level civilized town, we should give full play to the advantages of the creative cultural system and mechanism, sum up experience, innovate ideas, and fully promote the creation of a national civilized town to go deeper and work hard.
